about

Scott composed this piece in the fall of 2007 toward the end of his teaching career. It has come to represent the 30 years of his life that he spent teaching English to 9th and 10th graders in Pocatello, Idaho and the over 45 years he has been playing guitar. There is a musical phrase in this which is almost identical to a phrase in another of his pieces titled "Sunset Promenade".---Thus the reference to Robert Frost---"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and I took...." both of them.
